There is a tv series that is essentially a highly episodic group of 52 episodes (Each 13 minutes) where Kerub (the old cat) tells his adoptive son of various adventures in his youth in their treasure store. I started watching that but lost interest because I don't really care to watch 52 episodes of adventures that had little relevance to much besides expanding on past adventures of characters I didn't even know, all with a humorous tone to them. The TV series looks like it'd be a gorgeous television show for kids to watch and laugh and eat les poissons les poissons as they watch the adventures of le petit meow meow. I first discovered this whole universe when somebody in Offtopic posted in the 'Badass western animation' thread on GAF with a video of one of the battles in the film. Studio Ankama, same studio that makes the games, the Wakfu and Dofus tv series and this film really are like the top dog of French animation.īook I: Julith is the film that takes place a few years after the tv series. It deals with the return of Julith, aka 'The Butcher', an all powerful guardian of one of the dofus on her mission (that's a secret! But i'll never tell~). I thought it would star Kerub once again with Joris as a secondary character, but to my delight and surprise it stars Joris. A character whose design I loved when I first saw him. Visually this is hands down the most impressive piece of animation that Studio Ankama has produced. The fight scenes and scenery were superb. I can't find information on whether this was done in Flash or with traditional animation. I'll assume traditional animation tools, because Wakfu has specific visual hints to everything about it that it's done with Flash.Ĭlick to expand. As far as enjoyment, I think this might be the one to recommend to people if they wanted to check out something from the studio without being too involved in the universe or jumping into either Wakfu or Dofus as a whole as it's a bit of investment. All you really need to know to watch this is that an orphan lives with his adoptive father, a former hero, in a fantasy setting with all kinds of magic and creatures. The world outside of its designs entirely revolves around the idea of dragons and their power which I guess is what makes it stand out from other fantasy but it isn't particularly original or creative just well executed enough to base shows and film around it. We've been seeing a lot of card games getting tv shows and films in Japan, why not MMO titles? lol.

There’s no need to block most of your users from obtaining maps and characters, they should be able to be gained by putting hard work into the game and earning coins and gems. I understand that you guys need to make money, but I would hope that ads, Usain Bolt and people purchasing packages and coin doublers in the store would be enough. But Pirate Cove, Volcano Island qnd Enchanted Palace (and its characters) can only be purchased with dollars and I think that’s very unfair. However, now you can only unlock the new characters on special events and you need to purchase the maps with real world money.Īs I said, I’ve been playing for a long time, so I don’t know if the older characters and maps are still able to be purchased with coins and gems. Before, you could use coins to buy new characters or outfits and gems to buy new characters and maps. Something that bothers me a lot is that now coins and gems are practically useless besides Head starts and Save mes. Other people have talked enough about the ads so I’m not going to talk about that. The new maps and characters are always amazing, and the global challenges are great. I’ve been playing this game for a long time (at the very least five years) and although I’ve stopped for periods of time, I always come back. What is your ticket request number? We will be certainly look into this issue. We're sorry to hear the ad removal stopped working for you. I apologize for the delay in correcting my review, but I have had some health issues which thankfully seem to be subsiding. And now for a very reasonable price, you can get rid of them too thank you so much for helping me with this problem. I always did love the game I just hated the ads. The review is deserved, and I have brought it back up to a five star. The developers have since asked me to revise my review, but I had been ill for a while. However I must amend my previous review because they did contact me through email, and the developers gave me directions which did in fact remove the aggravating ads. I must admit that I tried to buy out of the ends and for over two weeks they still kept showing even after I received my notice that payment was received. And as if that wasn’t enough with all the money they must make on selling people gems and coins, they’ve added aggravating ads. Lately, however, now that they’re on the money grubbing bandwagon, I noticed fewer coins on runs when you needed them. As time went on they made more and more variations and maps for the game, which was fine. In 2010, archaeologist Quirino Olivera and his team started digging into the Montegrande hill, and soon discovered what they were excavating wasn’t a hill at all. Their homes became an archaeological site. These were relics of the past, and they were more than 1,000 years old. These, they soon learned, were more than old utensils. As the farmers worked the land, they started to uncover sherds of old pots. For centuries, it was ignored, and, in time, as Peru’s cities and towns stretched further out in the Amazon, farmers even set up their homes on top of it. A particularly steep one perhaps, but nothing more than an overgrown mound of earth. It is called Montegrande and, to look at it, it seems like nothing more than another hill. There is a hill in the Amazon rainforest that stretches out over two acres of land. Free-flowing brunch at Aqua Kyoto (London Bridge) Photo: Aqua Kyotoĭon’t be fooled by the slightly-different-term: the free-flowing brunch at this picturesque Shard restaurant is exactly the same deal. We’ve got three bank holidays after all… 1. So see which one of the 55 below takes your eye this month. Plus, they’re a hell of a big thing in London Town. Listed below are some of the most raucous bottomless brunches in town that promise to have you dancing on the tables by the early afternoon, as well as a few (relatively) more relaxed bottomless brunches for a rather more sedate affair. If it’s no longer enjoyable, find something else to do, or at least find a new species or technique to light you up.Bottomless brunches are great because you can get daytime-drunk and nobody bats an eyelid! There’s nothing quite like saying ‘bottoms up’ and knowing that you can continue to say it until it becomes ‘bosshomsupppp’. When you stop taking in the scenery, the changes in water color, the other wildlife, you lose valuable information that makes success more likely. The problem is that everything else matters. The worst residue of my bass tournament years is that I’m often so laser-focused on the next fish that I miss key clues. Hunting down a single bite is a recipe for disaster. Even if you’re not headed to Panama, the key to getting the most out of a new form of fishing is to go where it excels and to do it at prime time. If I’d hit the gym more before the trip I might have conquered a few more fish. As the days progressed and I got more tired, my casting became sloppier. That rest was needed to recuperate for the next outing. At the end of each day, I’d pass out in a beanbag for the hour-long ride back to the lodge, dead to the world. That’s when losses occurred, just like I’ve seen so many bass get loose when anglers had them approaching the net and suddenly let off the pressure. Just when we thought some of the tuna were whipped and gaff-ready, they’d take off on another line-peeling run. You may be able to get away with fewer bearings or cheaper line on crappies, but not when the big boys are in the mix. Woe be they whose drag is not butter smooth. A 100-pound torpedo made of muscle pulling against you will test every connection in between-from the joining of braid to leader, to your knots, to the split-rings holding your trebles.
